Write-up for the ‘High Stakes’ Challenge in HeroCTF 2021
Part 1: Assessing the given material:
Upon opening the docker we are presented with a Gambling Game!
On testing the various options we can clearly see that it is rigged, but on further inspection, we can see that it has one major flaw!
We are able to place multiple bets on a single roulette attempt!
I placed a bet on each number between 0 to 36 with a bet amount of 2$ each.
And then I played the roulette a couple of times to get the required money to buy the flag!
And Viola! We have our flag!
And with that, this challenge is done!
